Begin Oaks has been placed on some of the most beautiful land in all of the Twin Cities metro area. With the splendid towering oaks, numerous evergreens, and natural wetlands, it’s like being “Up North” without the drive.
We invite you to come and experience golf at Begin Oaks. The golf course was founded by Jerome and Betty Begin. The Begin ancestors were among the first homesteaders in the city of Plymouth, MN.. As a legacy to the Begin family name, they have elected to allow one of their farms to be enjoyed by many.
Our mid-length course is just under 3,000 yards long and is comprised of seven par 4’s and two par 3’s making it a testy par 34 course. Our maintenance staff takes great pride in maintaining the course and providing the golfers with exceptional playing conditions.
Tee times may be made up to seven days in advance by calling 763-559-7574 or stopping by the golf shop. For the discerning golfer, we offer Early-bird and SR rates Monday through Thursday until 11:00 am (excluding holiday’s, leagues and outings). We also offer packages for leagues, tournaments and group outings.
Our driving range facility features the largest lighted grass teeing area in the west metro area. The practice facility includes the driving range and two pitching, chipping and putting greens. The range is open daily and is lighted for your evening enjoyment. There are PGA and LPGA Professionals available for golf instruction. They offer private or group lessons for adults, seniors and children.
